Medical Students
We are strongly committed to teaching medical students from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Hospital and
St George's Medical School. The students come to us at all stages of their medical training and sometimes
patients are invited to participate in their learning. This provides invaluable experience for the
students.
We greatly appreciate the help and cooperation you give them. If a medical student is sitting in with the doctor
you will be informed. You may of course ask to be seen alone.
On some occasions the student will conduct some consultations without the doctor being present. However, at these times, the student will always refer back to the supervising doctor.
GP Registrar
Teaching is an important part of the culture at Parchmore Medical Centre and we are very pleased to be a
training practice. The trainer at the practice is Dr A.T. Fernandes.
There is protected tutorial time with the trainer. The teaching is directed by the trainer and shared by all
the partners, practice manager and primary care team.
